They are finally here!!

After all the anticipation, our new little ones are finally home and getting settled in

While getting Lola ready for her big delivery

day, we got to catch a sweet moment between the mother to be and the doting father. Even the cat wished her luck, but she moved last minute when we tried to take the photo. Double checking to make sure everything was packed for the big day, Lola was off to VCA to get prepped up for her surgery with the PuppyLoveBucket in tow, Needless to say the whole family was in excitement.

The whole team at VCA's Calgary Trail Animal Hospital was waiting with the red carpet rolled out for Lola's arrival. Once the star of the show was checked-in and her photo shoot done, she was given lots of love and encouragement from Rob before departing. Lola was shown to her kennel which they even had her favorite cloud bed put in for her! The techs and surgeon Dr. Sherry Van Boxtel get prepped and now the fun starts.

So... Who won the bet on the litter size?!

The surgery went smooth and Lola was resting after the long procedure. Winner of the litter size bet was Dr. Sherry herself. She helped deliver 4 beautiful little pups into the world and we can't thank her enough for all of her help and support. Lola had an even litter of 2 boys and 2 girls this time around and all healthy as as can be. The staff were enthralled by their cuteness, but who couldn't be! They were even kind enough to want to watch over the pups and Mama for the day while we got the puppy room all in order for the home arrival.

Now to get this little family back home and settled in

Lola and her pups were doing amazing post-op and feeding well. She was a little dazed but even in that state, she was superstar mom. Ready to go home, everything was set up for her and the pups pick-up. Once home, Lola settled in immediately, let out a big sigh of relief, and nested with her new little ones. Now the real fun begins as we start to figure out what the little ones will be called on our end. This time Rob wanted to decide on the breeding names (he's been wanting to name one Skeeter or Pickles for almost forever). Rob finally decided on names, now meet the 4 newest additions to the Blue Baron Family!

In order, meet Mocha, Domino, Pickles, and Oléo. These 4 little pup born May 11, 2022.
